I am looking forward to it! I had seen one but the person refused to share, it will be nice to be able to drive this vehicle. Best of luck to you.
Thank you all for support! Here's some update. Today I spent most of work time on remodelling front fender because it wasn't pretty realistic and mesh was really poor. Now it's better but still this isn't that thing I'm looking for :/ Tomorrow I'm going to finish front fascia(?) and then I want to start working on the interior. For now, I think that on the outside there is nothing more I can do. I removed side mirrors and will remodel them as well, it was something greasy in it and I didn't liked it. From interior I just started door handles and finished trunk shelf(?). Spoiler
Absolutely beautiful progress. Recently I've been using blender and it's horrendously difficult for me to use, due to the baffling keybinds. Fantastic job
Another update, fascia seems to be finished, last part to do is foglights but this isn't most important now. I guess, now I can start working on interior Spoiler On second screenshot, center hole is for license plate and 2 holes are for foglights.
Well, that seems awesome, but I would suggest to add your vechicle partially to the game (just body for example), so you will know if something isn't working correctly.. If you will try to get everything in-game in one moment something could crash game and you will have to check everything to find that one thing that is destroying everything.I am a bit tired, so the syntax of my sentence may be a bit weird. I hope you understand what I mean. Good luck!
Sorry for not bringing any update but you guys mentioned that you will help me. So now, as @EmizarPL suggested, I want to revive Polonez and now I need your help. What are steps to make it working? I have some plan to make tutorial in the future how to create mod because now I can see that there is no clear instructions. There are lots of threads, some of them may be outdated. Could you show me step by step progress?
Well, first thing you need to do if you want your vechicle in-game is jbeam. you can make it from scratch, (if I understand well what Jbeam basically is, you have to write a code that will definite part's weight, strength or what ever) what is the hardest part. You can also take jbeam from other vechicle, but you would still have to rewrite some part of that code (renaming the parts, for example: hatch_Fender_right ---> Polonez_Fender_right). If you have something untextured in game don't be scared if it is orange, it means, that this part has no textures, time will come for it (you can do it in blender). There are other things, that need to be made like .lua files etc. but I have no idea about that part (as well as about modding overall ). Anyway that is how I understand the mod making for BeamNG. I may be wrong, so don't take it as an good instruction. There are many people, who will explain it better than me. Don't be angry at me, i just wanted to tell, what is know.
Yes, but Clarkson had the export version, the better one. And Clarkson's car was after facelift, so yeah.
Will you consider differences between MR's? For example MR 83 received new gum spoiler, MR 89 is a transition model, MR 91 is Caro "Wąski" what means narrow, because it has shorter track width than MR 93 called "Szeroki" what means wide. In 1997 there was a deep lifting and the model name changed to Caro Plus. I hope you'll make also this last incarnation of Polonez. I recommend you to visit the site in link below, because there are many important things about this Polish shitbox: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FSO_Polonez
Yes, loop up, someone already asked for this. But now I'm at dead end :v I don't know how to set up jbeam files. If only there will be some easy to understand tutorial, that would be nice...
From what I've heard wiki is very outdated. I would suggest looking into jbeam files of one of the official vechicles, but you would have to learn jBeam yourself.
