Hey guys! SC-Auto Italia here... I'm working to a project and I need to apply a custom texture on several cars. I tried to open the car model on Blender but it seems that the program can't see the kind of model. How can I place a custom texture on my car?? If someone can please reply! Thanks guys Ciao ragazzi! Grazie ancora LA DIREZIONE SC-Auto Italia Simone Castella
What texture are you trying to change? And on what cars? Also not sure what you mean by "the program can't see the kind of model."
Thanks for the reply! I mean: I'm going to replicate all the NFSMW 2005 models, including the traffic and police cars. I've just made all the models in automation, but in the case of the Police Cruisers I need to apply the texture of the original Rokport police... I've seen in 3D WareHouse the texture of the original vehicle but Idk how to apply It on my model. https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/a2cd8f6de36cdd6b6dab5c767fa4aae1/civic-cruiser-from-nfsmw
So from what I understand you are trying to get the SketchUp file into Blender? It looks like (for me at least, I'm in the US) when I click download there is a drop down menu and the bottom option is a "Collada file" a .dae which should be open-able in Blender. This seems to be the only way if you don't have SketchUp Pro.
Yeah I have not it. But I'll try using the .dae file. Anyway I always have the problem that Blender can't open the Automation car model. And I don't know why. I'll try. Thanks a lot for your help bro and sorry if I'm not good in engish haha.
