It's been weeks and I STILL can't play.

At this point, I'm ready to just stop trying as a whole. I've done everything.. clear cache, clean installs, disabling my Antivirus and redownloading, changing user folder, nothing works. I can't even load the game in safemode anymore. I'm at a complete loss now. I don't know what i can do to fix this. I've even gone into my AV software and tried setting it to ignore BeamNG and it just says "Catastrophic Failure"

 

I'm probably going to sound hella stupid, but did you try launching directly from the EXE file, in the steamapps>common>beamng folder? If you are using steam, there could be a problem there.

 

Yeah, I've tried that too. It just says something about an error and then gives me a wild error code that isn't on the forums

 

Have you even tried "clean reinstall"? If yes, then just ignored this message.

 

Yes, I've done that many times now as per BeamNG support team and the forums. Literally nothing is working

 

What exactly does the error say when you launch from the exe? You might be missing a C++ redistributable.

 

What is your pc specs if I could ask? Since when your BeamNG are unplayable anymore?

 

It says System status error. and the code is usually like 0x000000001 or something like that.

Having the same problem! I can dink around in freeroam for a bit, but as soon as i go to change my car or play a scenario, or spawn anything, or do anything that doesnt involve using the default pickup, the game crashes, and i keep getting the 0xfffffff error code. Attached are my specs, as for gpu, i have an nvidia 980m. up until the last update, i had no problems whatsoever. currently re instaling for the 2nd time today.

 

Guys you aren’t actually showing all your specs, just your cpu and ram.

 

what else do you need? if you can help let me know what else i can share!

 

Well we would need GPU also. Storage media would be helpful also but not needed because there’s a huge difference between a hard drove and an m.2 ssd

Sorry, I've been out of the house for a bit. My GPU is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti. I'm not too sure what you mean about storage media.. this is my first pc and im still learning how to do things

 

Storage media doesnt really matter in this case but it technically could affect your gameplay. dont worry about it for now.

 

Just for reference, the error i keep getting is Status Access Violation

This is such a bummer. This is my favorite game on my PC. The support team hasnt really been able to help out either
