It's been weeks and I STILL can't play.

well, game finished installing, and i was actually able to enjoy a couple scenarios, until i booted up a third one, and got the same error as OP.

 

Delete antivirus and try again i guess.

You really dont need anything more than windows defender and common sense.

 

Windows Defender is all I have, lmao. All i do is game thru steam on this pc, i knew from the get go that i wasnt gonna need anything other than that.

And to boot, it's not being blocked by my firewall.

I have had the 0x0000005 error with the world editor 2.0 on specific maps, and the 0x0000001 error once after playing for about 2 hours with 6 vehicles and using a replay whilst screen capturing on highest settings. The last one I assume was caused by my laptops GTX 1060 overheating.

 

Well after deleting McAfee and enabling Windows Defender, my game is still giving me status access violation and saying my AV blocked it.

 

have you tried a clean windows install?

 

Do you mean reinstalling my OS or doing a clean install of the game?

 

It seems to me that your Windows is messed up (virus, or just a bug) somehow, more than the game being the issue.
Does your PC run fine other than this?

I agree with P_enta on doing a clean windows installation (formatting your PC.)

Tip: Stick with Windows defender, is more than enough for a daily user and having 2 AV's is just gonna make things worse.

 

Reinstalling your whole OS.

Backup your data, buy a new copy of windows or some cheap cracked windows stick off of ebay for 5 dollars and reinstall.

 

Aside from just this game, my PC runs perfectly fine with no issues. I don't know if I want to delete my whole OS over one game. The game worked fine up until the most recent update version.

 

I would do it. It only would take a night to download, and you just back your data up onto a 30 dollar hard drive.

 

A night to download the OS and 5 days to reinstall everything else

I dunno that just seems like alot to go through for one game. I mean it's one thing if I'm having issues with other stuff but my PC is still new

Yes, I've tried over and over again to no resolution.

 

I've since been able to get the game running without mods it seems. As soon as mods are reintroduced however, that's where things seem to go awry. This has happened a few times now where I can get the game to load properly, then I'll introduce a mod, the game will crash once saying something about it being blocked; then the game will repeatedly crash over and over again before making it to the title screen. (All mods are downloaded via the in-game repository or the BeamNG forums.

 

what mods did you download then? is there a list we can see?

 

I currently only have 5 downloaded.

 

Were the mods downloaded from here, or a third party site like World of Mods, modsgaming, etc.?
