FPS issues since 0.202 update 8/27/20

We run a server using parsec where we derby with around 12-14 cars. Ealier in the week beam worked fine. After this update today it seems like beam is capped at 30fps and it makes the game choppy and unplayable for the other drivers using parsec. Parsec allows us to have multiple people connect to my computer and run beam. Havent had any issues until today. Even running ai with 16 derby cars beam is capped at 30fps. Turning settings down did not help. Once i pause beam fps rises to 70+ FPS. Ryzen 7 3700x 5700XT. 450 down 30 mbps up

 

Stupid response, but have you checked if the FPS limiter defaulted to on?

 

yes we checked it but unfortunately that is not the issue thank you for responding

 

Maybe your graphics cards settings are pegging the game at 30 FPS?

Check Nvidia control panel (or whatever the amd equivalent is) to see if it’s limiting it

 

We did some more testing, even with 16 cars now our CPU will never go above 40% usage. we both have AMD cpu. I have 3900x cpu.
