Soliad Wendover is getting released

if you were to look at a car like the Bolide (current game version) and compare it with the Cherrier FCV cars, in terms of quality and crashability, the Cherrier looks so much better, which proves your point that the Wendover will look amazing

 

i hope it has a digital dashboard and some other features that we haven't seen before. The devs have been doing very well lately with new features.

Y'all, whining about the Wendover won't stop it from arriving to the game sooner or later. I'm personally intrigued. Pretty sure this is what stopped it from getting attention almost a decade ago.

oh sorry, just a bit weirded out about how people keep whining about the Wendover. Glad to know you ain't one of em.

 

I can remember past threads about the Wendover, people complaining about how its similar to the early Pessima or similar to the LeGran just because its an 80s car even going to the point of comparing it to the Grand Marshall which is a totally different car from the Wendover.

If you ask me the people who are distraught about the progress of the Wendover are the same ones who comment on every social media post begging for a modern super car or airbags some other car/feature that from what we know of isn't on the immediate to do list or is nearly impossible to implement without lots of technical and performance issues.

My opinion on any addition to the game in any form is the more the merrier. Personally I see the Wendover as something similar to the audience Ford's 9th gen T-Bird would've garnered towards.

 

It's very funny how the second these people see something that they don't like, they get butthurt that we aren't getting a lore-friendly Aventador in Beam.NG, but something else that has been in development limbo for almost a decade. It's stupid.

 

I haven't seen a thread complaining about a lack of a modern super car for a long time, so I don't know what your talking about there. Besides a modern super car would allow the devs to experiment with all the gizmos modern super cars normally come with (e.g. active aerodynamics) so it would definitely bring something new to the table to play around with. This is the primary reason why some people are annoyed by the Wendover as it most likely won't bring some new features to the game other than cosmetic, Although the devs could surprise us with something so don't quote me on that.
