Update

So, i can't update the game. I've tried the last order option, and i get asked for my order ID.
I've already emailed support for a copy, but i was wondering if anyone had a work around so i can update.

 

is the game already installed?
if so run the updater in the game directory

 

I get the same error for version.txt

 

Try temporarily disabling your antivirus, and use the latest installer available from the Download page. It's worth noting that your old shortcuts will still launch the old game as the new installer will more than likely put your game in a new directory and not overwrite any of the existing files.

 

It asked for my Order ID.

 

Same here, update fails, here are update logs.
Not sure where to find my order ID.

P.S.: Updater is added to firefall exceptions etc.

 

If you guys already have the game you should have a serial.txt file which should have your ID in it

 

...or just get it from the "Download" page, heckuvalot easier than surfing through the old game files and copying something to the new directory.

To get rid of the version.txt error, shut off your antivirus. Don't even bother with trying to add an exception. 9 times out of 10 antivirus exceptions won't work because of how interdependent files are. Sure, you may have excepted the updater, but what about all of the files it downloads?

Download page asks for Order ID, not Serial ID.

EDIT: You never linked your order, did you? If you bought the game in the first 3 days you were supposed to re-click the registerProduct link so that the download page would work for you. Anyone after that should've been done with the account upgrade process.

Oh i forgot to say i also cant update to 0.3.2 and i dont have my order ID.

 

So, you can't update to 3.2 because you lost your order ID? Contact support about that one, ask them to resend the e-mails. This is what the page is supposed to look like if you'd followed the correct process:
