    Sorry to say but no
    1. Size - GTA V Map size is 49 square miles, Italy, the largest vanilla map is 6 square miles. There are modded maps that size but they aren’t highly detailed
    2. Assets - There would be way too many assets to run and you would need a very powerful computer to run it
    3. Legality - I don’t even think it is legal to do that because of copyright infringement and no one would want to deal with a lawsuit like that
    4. Time - No one has that much time

It just isn’t feasible right now or possibly ever I mean it would be cool but that just won’t happen now or anytime soon

and that's with a team of around a thousand of developers working at Rockstar

now imagine if a single dude had to recreate the same map in BeamNG.drive.

I've been looking into porting it for a while but the full thing will literally never happen
the map itself is comprises of hundreds of thousands of models, every single one of which, in it's model, is centred. This means that for every one of the hundreds of thousands of props, you need to convert it, it's textures, it's lods, write up a beanng materials file for it and then get it's coordinates from the gta map and into the beamng world editor. if you want to do the full thing this also assumes beamng has no limit on the number of objects and that even with full lods the game will be able to run it reasonably. If you want to get a sense of scale, every single object that can be knocked over with a car is it's own object so you would need to find it's model (most likely shared with another but doesn't make it much easier) and get it's coordinates to enter into blender or the world editor depending on where you're arranging it all.
some other issues people have brought up like beamng's size limit aren't really relevant here assuming you're just porting the model, since you wouldn't use beamng terrain for that. Performance also shouldn't be an issue provided you add proper lods to everything, since gta's lowest detail parts are like 10 polys so you will only have the area around you actually detailed and not having your performance dragged down by the distant stuff that wouldn't be loaded
if you threw away your entire life, had no social responsibilities and were ok with working on only porting the map for 16 hours a day every day i reckon you could get it all done in 6-12 months
i can't do that so assuming i ever get finish anything in the first place it'll be a couple very small areas ported

Dude there are maps that are bigger then GTA 5's map have you seen that someone actually built the My Summer Cap map into Beamng and I bet anyone playing Beam.NG Drive has a graphics card.

1: yes there are, but do you realize how laggy it would be to run it, and how long it would take to make it? the brutus B1 would have it's final release before the map got beta tested
2: literally all computers able to play any sort of video game have graphics cards

BeamNG users explaining why literally everything is impossible in no less than a life story.

Really though, it's not like GTA V's game developers had to go through manually placing thousands of things, and manually making materials files.
This is where knowledge of tools or scripting languages comes in.

For example, on the indycar project, there are hundreds of skins. They're all converted automatically by a script in a couple minutes, a task which would otherwise take weeks to do.

Well, Los Injurus is as big as GTA V's map. The thing is, if someone have the dedication @bob.blunderton has, it can be done. Usually copyright infringements are a big issue when selling the stuff. Being a free mod, in a platform not really mainstream, I have my doubts that Rockstar would simply care about.
being a Car game, most of the interiors are useless, so less details to care about.

It may be as big, but have you compared the level of detail between the two? That is the real killer in this
