Got some help, I can now release the mod knowing everything is good and in my name. There will be both XtraCab and Single Cab options. Next step will be modeling the inside on the XtraCab.

I'll try to keep working on this mod regularly, but I got myself a rebuild project to work on that might take up more of my time! Good news is I will have great reference pictures and memory for the mod.

I was browsing and came across this. Spent a few hours in blender resizing, reassembling, and adding materials. It appears to be under Creative Commons licence so I could use it in the mod since I'm not making a profit or anything. I'll get in touch with the creator and see what he says. I'll have to make all the vacuum lines and pulleys, I'll probably up the quality in the engine bay to match the engine also.

What do you guys think though?

If everything works out, then you should be good!

Hopefully yeah, I'll read up more on licencing tomorrow. Looks so nice in the engine bay compared to my version.

Nice and detailed engine model, although I think the exhaust headers are too sporty looking.

Yeah once I finish this one. Just having suspension issues that I don't really know how to fix, I've never been good with JBEAM.

Can you fix the other yota mod where it just changes a few parts you made? The bed is quite litteraly broken and it launches off the rear of the truck.

As far as I can remember, it is in STL, and it means bad topology, highpolyness and you'll need to cut out all internals because they are not necesary and will just slow down perfomance.
You can try retopology if you want, or just take some detailed bits and retopo them
Still, It's a very cool mod an I can't wait it to be finished.
P.S. I hope there will be prerunner config:p

Not begging here, but why not just release it with the little cab you made there? It takes longer to fully release it with all the stuff. This is what i did with the Zephyr before it was *ahem*, put on hold. But, don't hate on me for asking this. Just Possible Advice for your liking.

Wait, when did you release a partial zephyr?

OT: I can't wait to have the toughest truck... in the world.

This is pretty awesome, I will be following this thread to see where you go with it.

I myself used to be a toyota guy, havent owned one in a while, but I used to have a 1984 SR5, 22R (Carb motor) , it was a pretty sweet little pickup, One of 2 years in the second gen bodystyle that had a solid axle. I ended up swapping the old orignal 22R for a 22RE from a 94, though I just still ran a 2bbl weber on it.

I wish I could figure out how to use blender and create my own mods for Beam, I have a few ideas on things I want to take a shot at (Building Hi-Rail versions of the D series and Roamer, Tow Bars etc)

But even though its hard to see in my PFP but I used to have a 1990 Bronco, used to have a 5.0/AOD in it, when I sold it, I had swapped a 6.9 IDI Diesel, and a ZF5 speed in it, ran it almost 50k miles, (You can see the smoke in the pic) So Im more of a "real world" modder rather than a PC modder, as far as custom built models go. But I do want to learn it and start doing my own thing on the PC like you are.
