Yes I tried to do something with interior.dds but how do I remove the alpha channel ?? edit I'm using paint.net I used a different background but do I need to save as 24bit or so? edit edit - Ah I seem to have found a 2009 plugin for paint.net to do the trick. Thanks for pointing this out !
It seems as though the mod manager cannot recognize mods from the same day, only ones made the day before and onward. This was tested in safe mode, and I have an attached screenshot or two.
I found a very weird bug. When the engine friction&engine braking is higher than the starter motor. If you shut your engine, the UI will show a "engine lock up" message, the engine friction will THEN change to INFINITY, making push start and downhill(even with jupiter gravity) start impossible. I found the bug when experimenting push start techniques. You can replicate it with some very old mods, on very high altutude, or simply change the torque via jbeam editing.
Ha, this is actually a feature Engine friction can change with thermals and stuff and this is there to basically prevent the starter from making sounds when the engine friction exceeds the starter motor torque. So it checks friction vs starter torque and when the friction exceeds it, it disables the motor.
I discovered something odd in the frictionClutch lua : I wanted to raise the clutch temp warning from 200°C to 300°C (provided I'd change the max temp too of course, which I did) but line 269 says the following : Code: device.clutchWarningTemp = jbeamData.warningTemp or 200 If I put "warningTemp":"300", in the transmission jbeam file it breaks the lua (and therefore the car), if I put "clutchWarningTemp":"300", it doesn't break but no change takes effect.
I understand but all the other parameters are numbers between double quotes too and they are numerical values as well (?) Oh I guess I need to double check that again, thank you
This is a number: Code: "myValue": 1234 This is a string: Code: "myValue" : "1234" Please always use numbers when you want to assign a number. Otherwise things will break eventually (as you found out).
You don't even need old mods. Just take the beater Covet to Passo Stelvio to the top of the driveable road & turn off the engine; it will get disabled from the lack of air
I knew that, just got mixed up in the speed of the heat Thanks for reminding anyway, it's working now !
Then the engine friction becomes infinity, push start or even gravity start with Jupiter won't work, BUT WHY??????????????????????
not a bug per-se, but shouldn't the pigeon's bed, or at least the floor of it, have its node material as metal rather than plastic?
Oooooh! Another thing I forgot to report this issue, I have same problem --- Post updated --- Another bug I forgotten to report
