For the longest time, I didn't know my screen had 144 refresh rate capability, so I never paid attention to it. Then once I did, I attempted to set the game to take advantage of that: So the foolish part: 1. Did not know that the display mode had to be set to "Fullscreen" for the refresh rate selection to even work. 2. Once set to 144, I never knew I had to hit the [APPLY] box to make the changes stick. I'd just exit the graphics options menu, and not give it a second thought! ::facepalm:: Oh my goodness... the frames don't necessarily peg the meter to 144, in fact... seldom. But, when moving the camera in orbit view, or pivoting in free/driver/relative view.... such buttery smoothness! Can hardly believe I missed out on all that this whole time I've had this game and rig. Well, better late than never.
Technically, if you have the game in anything else than Fullscreen mode, it automatically adjusts the refresh rate to the one you have set in Windows
