But upon registration, all letter keys are displayed with a "?" both in the English layout and in the Russian layout. Changing the language to the game did not help, as did loading from the administrator.
The latest version of the game is 0.20 ...
There are no modifications.
Tell me how you can solve this problem or how you can reassign the keys in another place?

Are you using windows vista? Vista is not supported. If you’re using windows 7, come on. It’s 2020. BeamNG highly recommends windows 10. And besides, you can just use a PS4 or an Xbox controller or a steering wheel, and that makes your driving life so much easier!

That is stupid bug which are already was discussed out for developers but nothing happens to improve. You should FIRST change the keyboard layout to ENGLISH and AFTER START the game. That also affects symbol buttons response.

1. go to settings and change them to"?"- those actions that are necessary for change. (in my case, this is machine control and slow control)
2. go to "C:\Users\[the name]\documents\BeamNG. drive\settings\inputmaps" and open the "keyboard.diff" file. I used Notepad++.
3. In the file. All new key assignments are set in the binding structure.
4. edit "?"- on the desired keys, taking into account the action on the button.
