I am messing around with the D-15 and i made a drag Racing version of it. im simply trying to achieve a decent wheelie truck out of boredom. Heres what i have done i copied the rear offroad wheels and made a variant with lots more friction, made a locking rear diff, and of course a high torque motor. but when i take off it does do a wheelie but the left wheel comes up higher than the right, the whole frame seems to be twisting with the torque of the motor, this causes the truck to veer sharply to the left and flip right off the line. Some know the term "axle wrap" and im pretty sure thats my issue. what i am asking is if there is any way to eliminate or reduce the amount of twisting and turning forces acting on the truck. Thanks in advance

You're close. Axle wrap is when the axle rotates forward or backwards in the opposite direction from the wheels, which does happen with high torque applications as you try to do a burnout or a hard launch.

Whats actually happening is that you have so much sideways rotational torque that the rear axle can not keep up with the driveshaft, transmission and engine. the only way to deal with this problem is to do these two things.

    1:
    • Make sure you have the rear suspension set up correctly for such amounts of power. (information about this kind of tuning can be found on drag racing websites)

    2:
    • Be sure to strengthen the frame a bit so it can handle the twisting power.
