Long story short, im making videos, but my slo-mo isnt smooth whatsoever, Ive tried at 4K, 1440P and 1080P, all different settings and same result. I have a 3900X, 32Gb of DDR4 and RTX 2080Ti, FPS is not the issue whatsoever, im running at a solid 120 in 4K, but when i try to use slo-mo i get this result.

I believe in replay slow mo just keeps the frames on screen longer(how some video editors do it), so try doing it in the game itself.

Like realtime while driving? that's fine, but my issue is i wont be able to get the camera angles and clips needed for a video.

If you record replays the only way to get slow-motion smooth iirc is to record it with slow-motion on.

I am having the exact same issue with Replays. When playing the game it runs at a smooth 60fps. If I apply slow-mo it looks pretty great too. When I go to the replay it looks exactly like you show. It stutters and flying elements look buggy. Everyone seems to say "You have to slow-mo the game when you are recording", but even doing this the replay looks horrible.

The only way right now to get your recording to look nice is to screen record while you are playing, but this limits your capacity of showing different cameras and stuff.

I don't recall this being an issue a few months back so I don't know what happened (And yes, I tried uninstalling the mods but nothing).

The gameplay he's experiencing is exactly what I am experiencing too.
If you record at 2x slower than realtime and then play the recording back at 16x, ofc it's still going to be choppy. Just line up the record speed and playback speed for your recording and you should be fine.
I don't get why this is so confusing?

Okay, I found this issue before, its because of the framework around the way BeamNG records replays, and the fact that it only records what "actually" happens, at the same speed as the actual game plays at, recordings at the moment struggle to do deformation at slower speeds in replays due to the information just not being there frame by frame that it needs when slowed down, meaning that the replays are at so and so fps, but the actual deformation logic isn't at the same speed, and is only reacting to what the game had at the original time. There are new techniques that could be implemented by the devs to work around this (at this time I neither remember what or if they would even work in this game) but yeah, basically, you are making the game try to do deformation in a replay that was not happening before.

So to make it work smooth, record the original thing in slow mo, and then it will work fine in replay.
