This mod is clearly stated as outdated. The post above yours is the latest version, but the author states that ONLY THE SUNBURST works. The last post was on February 4, meaning it's been more than 6 months since the last post on this thread. You have bumped a dead thread to the top of the forums, which is highly frowned upon. You had to read and accept that the thread was dead, and still decided to post? Please read through a whole thread before bumping a dead thread. It clouds the forums.
Hmmmm... Just wanted to let you know that whenever I run the game with the mod installed, it starts up as normal, but when I try to switch to a car, it's invisible, and when I try to revert it to my default vehicle, the game crashes. Do you think you could find out a fix to this?
I created the mod. I cannot say whether it will be back or not, but you can't just assume that mod creators are going to support their mods forever.
I'd recommend trying to revive it, it's the little things like these that make the game more immersive. Something I wish the game had though was animated manual shifters. A couple car mods have them.
it's ok to bump if you have actual contribution to the thread this mod is labeled as outdated, so it likely doesn't work anymore
An old, outdated mod from 2017 doesn't function in the latest version of BeamNG.drive. HMM, WHO WOULD'VE GUESSED? Sidenote, why the fuck is it that threads can be literally at least a year old, usually more, and people can click a checkbox to say that they acknowledges it's old and want to reply, and it works for them? Meanwhile when I try to bump a thread that's like maybe a month old at most, the forum will refuse to let me do so, throwing me a website error after clicking "Post Reply" stating that "The topic is too old". Fucking priorities, man. I'll occasionally try to bump old but fairly recent threads if it's still rather relevant and I can't do that because the website's code thinks the thread is too old to reply to. Oh, but people can bump threads from 2017 with no problem just to bitch that a mod from 2017 doesn't work with the latest 2022 version of BeamNG.drive. Regardless, there needs to be some serious changes to this site. I am so, so fucking tired of seeing these old-ass threads repeatedly getting bumped by people for no reason. Is there not a rule against this? It's one thing if the thread actually has any relevancy in the future, but I don't see why complaining about a mod from 5 years ago not working in the present should be a justifiable reason. WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE WORD OUTDATED?
