I recently got a Razer Blackwidow Elite for a good price. I was testing out all the RGB settings and when I selected Audio Meter, my Dell monitor just flickered and doesn't turn on anymore. When I try to turn on the computer, it turns on, but the monitor is black. I looked up my problem but couldn't find any help or answers. Can anyone help me?

It doesn't, it's a technology issue that just happened and I can't find out what happened. That's why I made this thread in the Off-Topic Computer Hardware section.

You might have gotten a lemon. I guess you’d have to find a way to turn off Audio Meter somehow, that might fix it.

I have tried everything, from turning it off and back on, to unplugging and reconnecting my monitor, and the monitor seems to have died, and I think I will need another monitor. Also, when I turned it back on, the keyboard reset the Audio Meter RGB mode back to the default color cycling one, but the monitor is still dead. I don't know if the Audio Meter is the cause of my monitor just dying unexpectedly.

Do any lights come on with the monitor?

Not quite sure what you're talking about, but I pressed the buttons on the monitor to turn it off and on, but nothing happens.

Not necessarily. Does your monitor have a internal power supply, or does it Use a power brick?

How would you not know if your monitor uses a power brick?! It is that big ugly box connected to the power cable!

It doesn't have those, but I just ordered a new monitor and it will come later. In the meantime, I am using an old monitor from 2010 that still works well.

Did you check if the monitor's power cable was in there securely? My monitor's power cable is incredibly sensitive.

It was in securely, and I just got my new and much better 240hz monitor. It works like a charm, but the sound isn't good at all.
