You can lower the temp by shutting it down and putting it on a cookie pan. And the throttling is DIRECTLY caused by the heat.

    wut?

All I'm saying is that the frequent lag spikes are the result of your computer slowing down to prevent it from reaching max temp. That's it.

Can't tell if translation error or telling RandomShortGuy to kill himself... please don't destroy what sounds to be a very nice expensive piece of fruit, you will cook the thermal paste which is pretty hard to replace on any laptop without knowledge or previous experience and you WILL damage components over an extended period of time. Get a cool mat and/or raised tray to allow for ventilation; ideally you shouldn't really use a laptop for CPU intensive games such as BeamNG, try to be careful.

This happens to me as well, when I'm recording with fraps. My temp is usually around 50-60 degress.

When was the last time you opened up your laptop and cleaned out the lint and replaced the thermal paste?

Try flipping it over and dumping the crumbs out.

But in all seriousness, 90c is a serious temperature problem, I use my laptop with a higher frequency CPU than it was meant for, and I still run 25c, no cooling pad, nothing, just the fan. Of course I used to run at 100c because it was filled with a 4mm layer of dust on the fan, you should look into that :p

OP should just blow out the dust with a compressed air can or, if they know what they're doing, take it apart and replace the thermal paste as well as getting rid of any dust.

Have you ever tried to run your laptop plugged in without the battery some laptop users seem to get much better temps in general when the charger isn't charging the battery by 1% every 58 seconds:cool:
