@JDM: Yep, that's what i said in the first post. Still trying to figure out why it does that from time to time :/

To be honest, I think most of what people say that it "drives so well because of the slidenode struts" is actually just because it drives very well full stop, compared to other BeamNG vehicles(like the Grand Marshal which drifts very easily) because we hit a real sweet spot in the allignment and tire tuning. Don't get me wrong, you can definitely feel the difference, steering feel is way better, but I think you're all giving the struts a bit too much credit :p It's just, it drove extremely well before we got slidenodes too. The BMW E36 mesh I have sitting on an n/b still handles a tad better than this imho, and that's still using double a-arms instead of slidenodes :p I could probably release that in 2 versions soonish so you can feel exactly how it changes and that the rear end allignment is so important :)

Because the Chaser in real life doesn't use Civic/CRX seats and tires? ... Why would I bother importing the Covet when I'm still making my own meshes anyway?... Sense, y u no make it.

I'm liking those wheels. I tried using the Marshall wheels, and they actually look pretty nice. Not perfect, but good enough for me.

Actually, those themselves look pretty awesome!! Those wheels in that picture are actually from a similar car, I thought it would be appropriate for it.

Dayummm. I'm at a business trip to China. Bloody Internet cafe. Anyway, I don't even have the pre race update. Looks good though.

Holy mother of god. I'm sure you already know about this, but for anyone that hasn't seen it yet, try removing the headlights through the part configurator and putting them back on again.

I dig this car even in it's current state. Really feel the diff w/slide nodes. As for the trunk lid I think the beamstrength value on the trunk latch was way too low so I took it to a million something and spawned the crap
out of it and it never popped open. 18,000 for the deform is fine but 24,000 for the beamstrength is a tad low. This may be just a band aid that hides something else though. Trunk lid crinkles up really nice!

That car was a MarkII 1988 or something. I'm just gonna make wheels that were on the car from factory, except for the drift-version, which will have some aftermarket wheels that are being used in the Japanese drift-missile scene. I'm currently trying to figure out what wheels were on what trim levels, which is a bit hard because almost all information on these cars is in Japanese, so I need to translate all my search words... And on top of that, some of the other X81 chassis cars share their names in different countries(the MarkII is sometimes called the Cressida).
After spending like 5 hours searching yesterday:
1jz-GTE had 6-double-spoke alloys like this:

But then the X80 chassis Chaser(and it seems only the ones with different front and rear lights than mine) in the lower spec trim levels has these? I still don't know how they differ between the X81, X80, GX81 etc cars, because as far as I can find it's completely unrelated to the front/rear light changes...

I'm not sure, but I do occasionally find Chasers with the wire-wheels from the 1988 MarkII from earlier, yet I can't find if they're a factory option or if people just stuck them on because they fit...

even if I change one part on this car...it self destructs....but I agree its super super early Alpha but its funny to watch a car destroy itself the moment you even remove 1 part or change 1 part on it...its really funny!
