Not explicitly. But depending on the sync quality, the vehicles should naturally emit it based on the way they're being driven.
It depends on the circumstances. Up to 3 or 4 cars at low speeds, like drifting is pretty smooth. High speeds and overtaking gets a little tricky, at least for my outdated pc specs.
Ok and what about the crash physics ? At beam mp i noticed at highspeed „taps“ only the person that tapped the other sees the damage but the car in front doesnt?
Hi there! I just came across a problem, but I think it got lost in the s***storm from earlier, if I may call it that. Yesterday, I tested this mod on my PC, and it worked fine. Just now, I tried starting the game again, and it gives me the error: 'BeamNG has exited unexpectedly. 0xC0000374 - STATUS_HEAP_CORRUPTION' before making it to the main menu. The error code when copied is as follows: BeamNG.drive 0.20.2.0 0xC0000374 STATUS_HEAP_CORRUPTION I've been able to establish it's the KISSMultiplayer.zip file in my mods folder that is, at least partially, the problem - as the game runs fine without it. As such, I'm posting this here, and not contacting the developers of the game. Yet, anyway. I'm on Windows 10, 16G RAM, 4,3-ish GHz processor, other specifications I can't list by heart right now, and I've tried re-installing the mod and bridge. All I know is that this PC can run Beam without any issues. One more thing: I also installed this mod on an old laptop, and I haven't yet experienced the same problem there. Any ideas?
After you launch the server, it'll generate a config json file. The default port is 3698. Hmm, this is a strange one. I know that the GUI for some reason is very picky, and minimizing the game / unfocusing it can cause a crash.
crash physics are ultra smooth and on point given your ping is 100ms or less. Everything from headlights to fire is synced. There is 0 lag, only lag you get is someone first spawning a car but you can’t get around thst.
So, I re-started the game with everything installed. As you mentioned minimizing the game might cause a crash, I rammed alt-enter a few times before the point where it used to crash, and it started just fine..... Weird.
So, we have a hotfix ready! It includes following fixes: Fix server jams(In theory) Limit player name size to 32 characters You won't get kicked anymore due to case differences in level name. (ex. if game uses gridmap and server uses GridMap) Added a divider to the player list, so you can see the ping of people with longer usernames Fixed the way chat messages were displayed, now it won't remove percent signs etc. The mod will now check if engines have stalled, or otherwise desynced, and rectify the situation. Cars shouldn't drive around with the engine turned off anymore. Spawn default vehicle after joining the server, to avoid confusion with "Replace current" when spawning a new vehicle Fix unpacked mods beeing mounted Fix errors in sync code, it should work a lot better now Attempt to fix vehicle shaking while they stay still Installing this hotfix in highly recommended for both players and server owners, but you're not forced to update
Note to KissMP devs : sometimes this ↓ happens when other players are editing. Okay, here a little drifting footage as it looks to me when things run smooth (when no lag spikes or other strangies are taking place)
The bridge from the hotfix isn't working for me. When I click the .exe I just get a spinning wheel (the windows loading one) and nothing happens.
