Slidenodes still have to be implemented for McPherson struts. For the time being, the T75 truck and the Pigeon are the only vehicles that are going to be released before slidenodes. That is, of course, until Gabe finds time to finish the Gavril Barstow, Gavril Bluebuck and the Ibishu Miramar, which predate McPherson struts, and therefore don't necessarily require slidenodes. But, if you want the Wendover, Pessima, or the 200BX, you must wait until slidenodes.

Well... that was a rough estimate seemingly that my car isn't really road legal as of right now. Last time I checked, I need things like lights and bumpers. Fenders are optional...

The 8 series is pretty neat with the lights down, but with them up, the car just looks like an angry duck.

Yes, it does. It's designed to compete with the likes of late 80's/early 90's Japanese sportscars e.g S13, FC3S, MA70 and so on..

i believe that there should be progress on this (and most of the other official vehicles that are waiting on slidenodes) soon, as i do believe that slidenodes are now implemented (i could be wrong though, i hope i'm not however)

Gabe did say once he gets a bit of these vehicles done, he can reuse jbeams, because some of these cars are quite similar, and they will get released quicker.

I am joining the ranks of the people who can't wait to see this in game. I like how it looks like a 240SX of sorts. It would be really cool if they offered a few front end coversion options (like the 240sx to s13,s15, etc.) as to make it seem exactly like a 240sx. I'd love to wreck a s13 club k sort of thing. Keep up the good work guys :D

I do like the idea of the front end conversions. Perhaps a second "Silvia" like version of the 200BX, being a coupe with fixed headlamps. Naturally, the front ends of the two would be interchangeable.

Anyway, I really do look forward to this car, as it's my sort of vehicle:D. Of course, mine will be lowered on 14x7 Longchamps, or something like that.

Don't worry. This'll likely be the next car in-game after the Sunburst (SBR4 might be on the backburner since we have slidenodes now)

Sounds excellent, I can't wait to drive it. I'm sure it'll be a great handling vehicle:D Speaking of handling, I'm assuming the suspension will be struts up front with a multi link/double wishbone in the rear, much like an S13

Also, will you be doing the JDM or USDM version of this car first? I say that because I'd like to see the Japanese spec version, with the steering wheel where it should be:p

Either way, this car will be great. It's easily my favourite official vehicle, followed by the Miramar and 2400i (I do enjoy my 80's German saloons)

The day that the 200BX is ready is the day that I shalt danceth a little, and then proceed to drive it quickly through mountain roads.

also @Gabester, will this use semi trailing arm rear suspension, or multi link, like an S13?

I'm very aware that touge means mountain pass, though I don't like to overuse special words;)

Regardless, the 200BX will be the car to choose for all your touge needs.
