Headlights giving light at night

Hi everyone when I turn my weather to night and turn on my headlights the headlights come on but don't give any light when I have watched other youtubers play at night I see their headlights giving light but mine have never worked please help

 

Do you play on lower graphics settings? Sometimes it turns off headlights as well as side view mirrors if you play on lower graphics settings.

 

bruh your computer compared to mine is like a Bugatti Chiron to a Mitsubishi Mirage lol

 

change the lighting settings from "lowest" to at least "low", this should cast light rays

 

Ya I know my computer is not the best for the game it isn't a gaming computer where do I find the light settings?

 

should be under options > graphics > quality (change it to custom if it's on a preset, and they should be adjustable there)

 

I tried to change the lighting settings to low and the headlights worked at night but it made everything blue and i couldn't see anything

On the lowest graphics settings the headlights don't really work. My advice would be to increase them as much as you can without killing your framerate.

Thanks it worked I think the reason i was seeing a see of blue was because i didn't change the graphic setting in the main menu and then spawn the map i changed it in the map but now it works thank you all special shoutout to stale for helping me figure this out
