    Norton removed this file.
I'm not sure if it's really a threat or not.

If the picture is too small, the file is located at:
    Users/(UserName)/Appdata/Local/Beamng/Alpha_Prerace/Crashrpt1043.dll
Does anybody else have this file?
    Should I restore it?

    Yes, you should restore it.
That's one of the files that the Crash Sender uses.

its a false positive and restoring that file is ideal for the game to work at 100%

Great Norton is being a jerk and won't give me the option to restore it anymore.
And it won't stop blocking it when I update.
    Going to have to uninstall/reinstall.

    tdev's response to this: Should-I-Be-Worried
    Quoted from above link:
    EDIT:
From what I can tell it is being detected as it "Logs and sends that information to the Developers" and norton is seeing this as stealing your data and offloading it so this is why the crash reporter has been flagged a false positive.
By rights you should be able to add it to the exceptions list so it is no longer detected.

I do not use Norton, as it has the knack to through false positives about the slightest thing.. Being overcautious is not always a good thing and this is what Norton does unfortunately.

    corrected for you.

Norton. Notorious for false positives. Independent testing shows it has far too many false negatives to be acceptable too. My old copy detected large portions of System32 as malicious, on a brand new fresh windows install from an actual install DVD (not pirated) with actual license key.
Its CPU hogging. Detects things that aren't malware as malware while not detecting several pieces of actual malware. I would describe norton not as an anti-malware tool, but as malware.

Agreed 100% on it being malware, but I wasn't going to be the one to label it first :p
