I wouldn't post it if I was you, maybe dm it if someone is desperate but you will need perms to post publicly. As for the discussion on the original thread and gladiator(repo version) being removed, I believe(and I could be wrong) Stoat lost a little motivation due to the fact his job is basically what his former hobby was and people were getting frustrated with lack of updates/fixes, as well as some other factors no doubt. However this really has little to do with this new thread so we shouldn't really discuss it here.
V1.1 (2020.11.24): -Slightly adjusted the height and width of large bumper guards. -426 Hemi is now making comparable power with real-life counterparts. -Adjusted shock sounds based on official vehicles. -Minor adjustments to spotlight settings. -Updated the material format from "materials.cs" to "_.materials.json". -Fixed some official wheels turning gray when this is installed.
I was having issues with the bubble light on the police package not loading... I tried to clear cache, but that unfortunately didn't work. I may have to delete some mods, and build them back up (and remove the ones that may cause the issue). If there is another way to solve it, that would be superb!! I love seeing this mod again, and especially with more variants like how they were prototypically (i.e. police package, taxi, more 4-door variants, etc. ) Thank you!! Mike B.
Uh, minor problem. I removed all the other mods and cleared the cache, etc, and this is how it comes up. I just updated to the file you posted this morning. It was working fine before.
That did it. Thanks! While I'm here though, I did notice the 318 has a 4 barrel carb. If I remember right they only came with a 2 barrel and also single exhaust from the factory. EDIT: ...and a lot more gutless than this one seems to be. This 318 is a real tire fryer where as the ones I remember could barely spin a single tire.
There is still quite a bit of inaccuracy in most of the configurations, and I'm sorry to say this, but not everything will be perfectly replicated. I'll need to model the 2 barrel carburetor, though I don't currently have plans on making single exhausts since there are 318s that did come with dual exhausts: I'm not sure about the baseline versions since I couldn't find information on them. The exhaust also seems to change depending on the year. Speaking of power, this 318 is actually the gutless one. I overlooked the data for this engine in the last update but turns out it's currently making about 30 less horsepower than the actual engine, base on the automobile-catalog data. I also saw an article stating that you could easily spin the wheel with a 318. I didn't make the teller final drives for this car, so it should spin the tire even more easily. In the next update, the 318 will be even more powerful. I'm planning to make colorable interiors and add some other accessories. However I'm quite busy at the moment, so there is no guarantee on when or if. Sorry about that.
Theres one slight anachronism that I noticed: the Chrysler Six-Pack was only intorduced in 1969, the 1968 R/T model should have a single four-barrel instead. Other than that, everything seems perfect, although maybe adding more Sure-Grip rear dierentials would be nice. I really like the 327 hubcaps, they remind me of the hubcaps from the black '68 Charger in Bullitt.
This probably isn't going to happen, but are we gonna see the restyled B-body Coronet, from '71 to '74, at any point in this mod's continued development, or is it going to stay within the confines of 1968 to 1970? I'm fine with either answer.
Thanks for the information! But some other stuffs are far from perfect. The A833 4-speed manual is a placeholder on the lower end models. They should use the 3-speed A745 instead. It is in the plans. Rust is a good idea but would be quite difficult to implement at the moment. So I'm not planning on it yet. The 71 Coronet has too many changes (different wheelbase, ext), so if the timeline is going to change, it is most likely going to go backward instead of forward. The 65-67 ones use the same floor panel as 68-70 ones. Vegas777 is working on a 77 Dodge Monaco, which is identical to the 71 Coronet. There are no premises on changing the timeline here though. I'm going to be busy for the next few weeks, so I won't be able to work on this. Never the less, have yourselves a fine holiday season.
