The DMC-12 is DeLorean Motor Company's first and only production car. Its production lasted only 2 years and is to this day probably the most controversial vehicle ever known. Only ~9000 were built but they're known worldwide for their incredible story and appearance in what is considered to be the greatest film ever made.

This is my first go at making a scratch production car. I've been working on it for the past 2 months now and I felt like it would be a good time to make a thread for it.

- Scratch-made model : I made the model myself using Blender and finding as much reference as possible on the internet. The only things I reused are BeamNG assets and there aren't much of them.

- Back to the Future versions : What made the car so iconic is probably the Back to the Future movies, so I couldn't skip the opportunity to make a working time machine in Beam. (This is still heavily WIP, but it will be made and will be as accurate to the movies as possible.)
Yes, it time travels. No, it doesn't work perfectly yet. Yes it will eventually
(and yes it'll have the flying one from the second movie and about everything you can think of that's back to the future related)

- Twin-Turbo versions : Legend Industries was hired to build 5000 TT DeLoreans for 1984. Unfortunately DMC went bankrupt in 1983 (causing Legend to go bankrupt as well) and so TT DeLoreans never came to fruition. Based on various pics and info I could find, I did my best to recreate those kits.

Will this be released on the repository?
No. One of the reasons is that the Back to the Future stuff is trademarked, the other one is that I don't want to remove the DeLorean brand.

Will it be colorable/have the gold version?
I thought about this a long time about both of those, and it's a no for both.

Will the doors open?
They open just like on vanilla vehicles : nodegrabber. No lua involved in the doors.

Is it skinnable?
No.

Where can I download this?
Nowhere yet : it's still a work-in-progress. I made this thread to showcase the mod and shine some light on everyone's questions. It will be publicly available at a later date.
