Is this a legit website? https://www.beamng.org/resources/moonhawk-i6-clubsport.3226/update?update=8520 *That's the link I used to get there. RESOLVED, not a hack but instead a broken redirect.
That's my question... if you go to https://www.beamng.org/threads/hacked-beamng-com.75292/ You can see this.
I wonder if it's just an old forum site that they never updated, I mean, Nacho Problem was here in 2018, and Carsmin and I were here since 2018 - yet from some of the original members mentioning that there was an 'old' forum, then it could be that.
Don't use that site. Thats very dangerous. Get off that right now before any personal information gets stolen. We need Admins ASAP Pic:
i think 1. it might be a alternative? 2. t might be a scam are you logged in @Nacho Problem --- Post updated --- ye i was like that
Maybe... But that just means it's not a private connection, which isn't uncommon in dated websites. If my previous theory is correct, then it could just be a remnant of the old forum.
dont do it. its dangerous. we need admins ASAP --- Post updated --- its not a old forum. look at this 2014 video. it is beamng.com
Thats the legit one. (video above ^ ) If I recall, theres some way to find a way on it. But still, dont go on that site.
also this 2013 video look at the description where to buy Drive http://www.beamng.com/forum so it's not an old forum
Well, that's possible, but it raises the question: a. Who'd want to hack BeamNG drive of all things? I'm pretty sure that they don't store much information, other than an email and unique password... I kinda abandoned the email because of spam, and the password is totally unique. b. How does it have access to this site? It updates in sync. Thus Might just be an overreaction. But who knows? I guess we just wait for someone with some knowledge to show up.
beamng.org may be an unofficially created domain that redirects to BeamNGs IP. However, the SSL certificate for BeamNG.com only works on BeamNG.com, so when you go to BeamNG.org there's a certificate error in a big red screen. Essentially, it's probably not the best idea to go there (since I never checked if they add any additional data to the site), and especially enter information there. Edit: See below post, it seems like it's just a misconfiguration
