    do I press the brake?

    Well you could watch some tutorials on YouTube.
    Just a reminder that if you ever played any arcade racing games such as FM7 or FH4, they have simplified drift physics, so in Beam it will be much more difficult.

    try practicing with a stock 200bx (because it is perfect for beginning in my opinion), then increase the power by time

    Start by trying a different game. Beam is ludicrously hard to drift in.
