Update Speculation thread

i wonder what the possibility of it being one of the concept list names is, something like chivala, scarborough, or tiare.

 

The interesting thing about Bruckell is they have almost nothing in their roster compared to the other 2 big companies (Gavril and Ibishu) and the two cars they can call their own are incredibly light on content, yet the platforms they do have could be used on a huge number of vehicles if the devs really wanted to go crazy with it.

The Moonhawk has arguably the worst potential to realized content ratio in game. We could easily see a more significant (pre)facelift and a Soliad version with some pointy bodywork reminiscent of Pontiac, as well as a wagon, ute, and sedan body styles, plus hardtop/pillard versions of some of these. Being a standard 1970's frame it could also be used for a wide array of contemporary vehicles. It even has two notable possible superbuild configs: a gen 2 stock car and a modified oval stocker. Like most older American cars, a tubbed version and pro-mod version are also on the table (Murder Nova anyone?). Personally I'd love to see some Dodge Aspen inspiration too... T-Tops anyone?

The 1980's had a fair number of interesting FWD American cars, and we now have 2 FWD Bruckell platforms to borrow parts from. Modified versions of these platforms could give us a hot hatch (Think Shelby lancer), a minivan, a minitruck (Think Dodge Rampage), a SWB sport version of the Wendover (Think Reatta)... We certainly have an abundance of 1980's vehicles as is, but because all of these would borrow so much of the mechanical parts from the LeGran/Wendover they are somewhat low hanging fruit that includes some relatively unique stuff and common suggestions (People do seem to love 1980's FWD minivans).

As for the crossover name.. They might go the Bluebuck route and take the name of an animal related to an Eagle.. Bruckell Griffon?

 

Maybe a food truck configuration? Called "turbo burger street truck"?

 

i personally hope we see the factory configs of the moonhawk showing a slow decline from "trying to be a muscle car" to "giving up and becoming a personal luxury coupe"

Your bring up another good point there, now that Ferrettank's finished making the superpig/screamer, and his specialty seems to be "super build" versions of cars, especially in the offroad field, what could he possbily do next?
I've heard his general desire to make long travel suspension for the sunburst, but that doesn't seem like it would take very long to make (given the scope of his prior projects)
As you say, his model/jbeam skill could certainly be translated into road race style modifications, such as the aforementioned moonhawk stock car, or a formula drift 200BX, though of course we have no real evidence to suggest they plan to do this.

 

here are some ideas i have for possible content:

• convertible wendover (soliad sc by Civetta)
• late 70's moonhawk with quad headlights (possibly by soliad)
• mid-late 70's d-series (the cab looks like it's from 1960's to 2000's)
• V12 bolide

 

Nah they should not only remaster american cars . They should do remaster for the sunburst or old pessim

has anyone else noticed the racing doorcards for the prerunner in the files?
they seem like an interesting step forward for customisation, but for whatever reason weren't released.
the lack of a diesel fuel cell is also interesting, i wouldn't be suprised if one is added in a hotfix.

While it is great to see the official LeGran wagon is probably coming eventually, i still dont think we are going to get any extra body styles until the devs figure out the UI for different body styles. A new body would mean duplicating all the configs, which would make the model selector a mess. Probably new body styles will come after they revamp the UI and introduce a way of choosing a bodystyle without needing to duplicate all the configs in the config selector.
