Probably not the most realistic or best sounds (not a sound engineer). I basically sourced the sounds from various youtube clips a little while ago of car idles and skids/crashes. Manipulated the hell out of the car idle to get both the engine sounds and they are nothing like the orginal sounds. Credit to the world and anyone who wants credits... What you will find in the zip are 2 engine sounds, 3 skid sounds and a crash sound. The 3 skids are of different volume. The 2 engine sounds are me stuffing around to see what I could produce. The 1 crash sound because I was satisfied. You are more than welcome to rip these suckers apart and do what you will with them, put them on a loop over some massive speakers in your backyard, play them through earphones you've glued to your arch nemesis's ear holes, whatever floats your boat. I thought these were a decent change from the norm. Why don't you treat yourself to a bit of a ganda... PS: These sounds probably suck, I'm sorry. The video probably sucks too. PSS: The video editer program thingy cuts the sound out here and there, totally the programs fault not the users , totally.
I really like the drifts! The skid sounds are nice too! Particularity like the "med" and "low" High is a little tooooo screechy. Nahha. Nice drifting!
Skid sounds are nearly perfect, IMO they could be a little lower pitched but they sound really nice. I dont really like the first engine sound, sounds weird to me and i cant even tell how does it sound like because of the volume down/up error, however second one sounds original, sounds like mix of boxer I4 and some high power V8 SUV engine. I also really like the crash sounds, they remind me of Crashday alot .
I play with the low sound and for the drifting, I've been binging Initial D for a week now haha, I have beamng down hill courses on one side and the Initial D series on the other. I didn't really like the first sound either, so I lowered the tempo on the 2nd one and prefer it as well. I thought i'd just release them both anyway. Glad you liked the crash sounds
I like the sounds, but yes, the first one is "to loud". The second one and the skid sound's are pretty stunning. thanks for ur work! Off-Topic: U r using the "biggerification" engine, amIrite? And also, it seems that ur tires have more grip, or amInotrite? Nice drifting though!!!! I love to go sideways with moosedicks grand marshall drift missle
No fancy bigger engine, just manual, 3rd gear, intertia and a whole lot of repetition. No added grip to the tires. Sometimes I set the gravity to -13 to get more traction when I am getting agitated but mostly play at Earth gravity. I almost didn't add the first engine sound but I thought some crazy bastard out there would like it
