Late answers are always the sweetest, especially when they come from you. I still use this noisy (suspention...) rotary oil burner that has held up very well, and it is still fun to drive. The deformation is still very good nevertheless and a few textures aren't going to stop this mod from being great. Sadly since we last discussed in this thread i haven't seen another 110s irl yet. Very excited for the gavril revenge, that sadly is painfully (for the car itself at least) outdated, and the 37 ford pick up truck. Interested in the bigger project and will definetly keep a keen eye on it. merry 3 consecutive "Ho" and baby Jesus birth!

bad grammar aside (now i want to see you writing in italian :) ) the early models, the L10A, had a shorter wheel base, and for the second revision, the L10B, they increased the wheel base, had a more powerful 0813 and bigger rims

Yes, the first gen Cosmo L10A had a wheelbase 5 inches shorter or so than the second gen L10B... It has a surprising impact on handling too, the first gen cars are really good on maps like the ETK Driver Experience Center with barely any banking (Does anyone still play that? It has awesome mini tracks and circuits,) the second gens are better on the racetracks with banking and large sweeping turns.

    I'll investigate this asap.

Anyone else besides Botanimus here having sound issues?

Absolute legend. Started with that chevy pickup, and now we're here. This guy should win the award for the most active content creator on BeamNG

Nice, glad I'm not the only one who still likes that map :) It's just so outdated visually in comparison to other maps now, though it honestly has some of the best flat handling circuits in the game. Great for testing out the Cosmo and its cornering abilities.

Though I question why you decided to drive all over the grass instead of trying the courses :p

Atleast sounds are working for some people... I'll have to figure out what's doing that, maybe there's a sound mod or something that's interfering, or some old code relating to some custom engine sounds I had been using is acting up... weird.

@Botanimus you should try disabling all other mods, and clear your Documents/BeamNG.drive folder (Make a backup or delete it, either way the game will regenerate it. Make sure your mods are backed up at the least though,) then see if that fixes the sound. If it does, it means you have a conflicting mod which I'm unaware of.

Thanks! Glad you like it :)

I've put quite a bit of time into getting everything right to my liking... I was gonna have @atv_123 do a proper alignment on all the configs, but he's been too busy IRL and with the Brutus B1, plus I haven't reminded him frequently so there's always the chance he forgot. So I just did the best I could on my own and decided to put something out before Christmas.

If he gets some time to do it, and/or there's any major improvements, I'll put out an update :)

Aww that's sweet of you :)Thanks, I wouldn't go that far though personally... However I do like working on stuff, and sharing progress ;)

    And since I'm feeling generous;

Hint; Vendetta rework ;) How could I abandon a car that I absolutely love the IRL version of?

Yeah it's a pretty good map, Definitely needs more content though, You wouldn't want too much new content though as it's designed to be used for scenarios and campaigns that involve lots of additional meshes.

Yeah this is a fun car to drive, can be quite twitchy and it's gutless af (like real Rotary engines) at low RPM's so you have to rev it's tits off to go anywhere.

I already deleted all of my mods, and in total cleared cache 7 times and nothing changed. It still has no sound.

Very nice! Just a few things, maybe some exhaust options to make it sound more aggressive (new engine sounds as you said) and missing texture on front suspension. Nice!

I like the car but engine sound is lacked of low freqs and seems so tiny toyed. And personally me hate that faded pink stop lights, that is so weird.

No, should probably go ahead and mark that as On Hold... Its gotten too big, 0.21 broke some paths for map assets (Causing them not to load,) and I'm not motivated to do much with it atm.

You've got no texture errors? They should definitely have textures... Pics?

Thanks for your feedback :) Definitely appreciate it.

Sounds are definitely one of the worst areas on this mod, I'm not trying to cover that up; 3 samples TOTAL, using the old .SBEAM system to pitch shift everything, hence why there's alot of frequencies missing and some that are overdone (Creating that rather unpleasant tin toy effect.)

I'm pretty much stuck with the garbage sounds I have currently unless someone is willing to provide me some decent sound samples from a period correct Mazda Rotary/Wankel engine... Preferably without ripping them from another game (Since I have been toying around the idea of a repo-friendly version. DO NOT SUGGEST FAKE NAMES, if I do a repo version it will be done in a similar fashion as the Codename:Oldsfullsize and add-on expansion.)

As for the pink lights, I'm assuming you're talking about the glowmap texture... I should be able to fix that, it's really just a minor texture adjustment. Didn't see that they were a problem, but I guess they are a tad bit too pink now that I think about it...

    How's this?

Weird... The rest of us have engine sounds, even if they're not that great... I unfortunately can't replicate it on my end.

By chance do you have the same issues with the Satsuma 210 '58 by mike94? AFAIK it still uses .SBEAM engine sounds for its wankel engine.

I just try my Satsuma mod and have found what its engine sound is better then yours. But, lol, it was not Satsuma 210, but this mod: https://www.beamng.com/threads/satsuma-amp-gl-gt.59327/ And if you could use it in your Cosmo that will fit to it very well.

What about tail red lights: yes, your new colour is better, but I still suggest use the clean red colour (with very few fade and texturing may be) Because that kind of colour using in many games and Beam NG, then devs trying to show BRIGHTNESS of lights by adding some kind of pink or orange tints (like we usually see in digital photos) just weird because in real life we see only clean red colour (but very bright one, what of course is not possible to show on shallow dynamic range RGB screens).

You can set more dark red for unlighten tails and 100,0,0 red to switched on lights with glow (and some of texturing at your like).

All above - my personal opinion, no more.

Thanks for the info :) I just checked the Satsuma Amp TL GT, and unless I'm missing something, as-is it doesn't come with a Wankel engine (Meaning the custom sounds it does feature would be incorrect.) Still a good mod though regardless.

Any leads are welcome tbh... There's the Forza sounds, though idk who originally published them here on the forums and I'm personally not fond of taking stuff from triple A games.

I'll keep messing around with the taillights too, see if I can't get something a tad bit better looking overall :)
