    Hi All

Been a while since I played this, heard it had triple screen so hopped back in!

My DD1 has intermittent FFB, maybe 1 in 10 launches it is working, and even then it is FLAKY. In all cases the steering etc always works, just FFB is dead or very flaky, too hard, too soft or dropping out after a few minutes.

I chased my bum off trying to figure it out to no avail:

    1. Steam verify files, no change
    2. Revert to Beta DX10 (works every time)
    3. Uninstall completely, delte documents folders, wipe registry, reinstall, no change.
    4. dozens of iterations of setting from web and from the official wiki, will post my current settings below.

All of above had no impact on the symptoms, the cure is in the workaround below.

Setup up your wheel to taste in fanalabs and boot into the game, start a track and drive a short distance, (this part seems important for some reason, if you just stay where you spawned the power cycle does not appear to work)THEN, turn off your DD1 completely via its power button, and turn it back on, you may have to repeat this multiples times , in my experience 1-4 times, until you see this second message , NOT just the top one, it shows everytime, you must see both. This ONLY works in game, powercycling before the game does not work.

This process has to be repeated every time you boot the game. This might also solve the problems i see the csw2 and csw2.5 guys having.

For devs. Latest 3.81 drivers, latest firmwares, windows 10 fully up to date, and latest BeamNG as at this date.

I am pretty sure my DD1 does not appreciate being powercycled like this to get the game to detect it ( this si the ONLY game that does this, all the rest of the games below just work, so confident its not a system configuration issue.

TIA for looking into this bug.

Current settings that give great FFB utilising the workaround method:

Do you have a collection of most common wheels? Great to hear the dd1 gets supported, tho I haven't noticed any issues

Yes, we collected some things over the years :)

We pushed a silent hot fix earlier that fixes the load order of FFB devices being incorrect, resulting in FFB randomly not working.

Thanks! Appreciated, really enjoying the new small island. lovely and lush. I noticed ?mud? for the first time. Any hopes we can get mud physics ala MudRunner at some future date, would be great in this engine.
