I've been doing some digging and came across a very unusual pc/console hybrid. According to what it sounds like it should be able to run the game just fine. This creation is fully upgradable just like pc and might be the first ever hybrid game machine to run BeamNG. This hybrid is none other then the KFC console. Also yes it cooks chicken. So technically it is a 3 in 1 (PC/Console/Chicken cooker) Many people will say that this is fake and that a food companies don't do this. Well it's been done before. Even if it does run a modified version of Windows it could still possibly play it. If not you can most likely mod the console itself to run it. Mods such as homebrew might work for it pretty well. Not released yet so we have to wait to see what happens
Every single week a wild "WHEN BMNG ON CONSOLE" thread appears. For god's sake, that's not even a console, it's just a PC. And even if it was one, this game would run ONLY in that device, not in mainstream devices (Xbox/PS5). What's more, it's just a CONCEPT. Is far from being a real thing if it's ever going to be. Also it isn't the first "hybrid machine" that could run this game. Steam Machines were a thing a few years ago, and nowadays there're quite a few console-like PCs like this example: There're no plans to port this game to consoles atm, and a console running a full fledged version of Windows isn't a console, it's a PC.
I am saying that it will run on hybrid systems. I understand that consoles are not planned and probably will never be. I just want to state that it is possible for some pc/console systems to run the game. I don't expect main stream devices such as playstation or xbox to run this game but some exclusives might. Also some hybrid systems run Win 10 and a console mode as well
4K 240 fps? Yeah, I'm calling bullshit on this article. This is like tabloid quality "journalism". Also, it uses a mobile CPU, and good luck keeping that thing cool under gaming in such a small form factor. Plus, this Intel NUC it uses, only supports PCIe 3 x4 config, so you're going to have a seriously bottlenecked GPU more than likely. Then there's cost... that NUC module costs about $1000, and that's before any video card. There is nothing practical about this as an idea. Expensive, bottlenecked to hell, and good luck marketing something like this without blatantly lying about what it can do.
If you did not read you can upgrade everything in the console itself including GPU and CPU. Also the console is a proto not even released yet. They are working on it. Also another article here https://www.ctvnews.ca/lifestyle/kfc-launches-game-console-that-keeps-your-chicken-warm-1.5242731 plus many more. Just search "KFC console"
I've read multiple articles on it already and its so absurd that there's no way it is anything but a joke, a scam, or just plain fake. The very idea of it is flawed to the core.
Its nowhere near released so its a waiting game at this point. Let the media say what it wants. Also I myself don't believe in this concept. Maybe it is 240 frames for 144p gaming or 4k 240 frames in a year. HaHa that was a joke. In all seriousness if this turns out to be real thats crazy. Also I will buy 1
BeamNG isn't available for a multitude of reasons. A. Consoles aren't able to handle the game (This was true before the PS5 etc.) B. BeamNG isn't interested in converting it to console. This has been asked many, many times before. C. BeamNG does not have the development capacity to do that in the first place.
