Yep, well, this game is never going to consoles period its just not worth the dev cost! and I agree you are a wizard!
I believe Beam.NG Drive should be able to run on a Xbox or any other high quality console. This is because I am able to play Beam.NG Drive smoothly on the lowest quality on a Dell E6430 will 3.87 GB of RAM, a Intel Graphics 4000, and only about 5 GB or storage remaining. All of which is much worse than a Xbox or PS, so I believe Beam.NG Drive should run smoothly on a console.
would BeamNG run on the XBOX Series X?(assuming its OS is similar to Windows and easily adaptable) Yes. Would it be playable? Not really. BeamNG is very adaptable, but trying to get it to run on consoles would be an unnecessary waste of time for the devs(keybinds, ironing out bugs etc) and it really wouldn't be a good experience for the player(BeamNG is much more taxing on the CPU imo)
Just plug in a wireless usb and get some totally not shady free windows files to xbox and boom. Or just do like you said and transfer keybindings and files to be compatible to xbox, and then just completely over price it like Appleā¢.
Its not as simple as that and the Devs have stated that it will NEVER be going to console and its a PC Exclusive ONLY.....end of discussion!
..I never said it wasn't possible. Just that it probably wouldn't be that fun or accessible for the majority of Xbox players
