I wonder if they can be simulated like the engine temps.. maybe have such a temperature system in the tyres/tires of the vehicle which increase depending on friction (and burnouts ) which then maybe able to change the amount of grip the tyres/tires have, similar to how the engine of the car simulates oil temps, coolant temps and stuff. In the engine, the friction and heat is produced by combustion which is already simulated, Could be the same case with the tyres/tires contacting the ground, more friction over a period of time increases temps, and once the temps are over a limit, the grip levels reduce, similar to engine overheating. @Diamondback , Would this work?
