This will backfire massively because bots often use proxies while typical consumers do not. At most, you'll get the BeamNG site blocked for Chinese fans of the games (not nice at all). Xenophobia helps nobody.

A better solution would be to have posts from new members be put pending moderation until the member has a few approved posts, That way, the bot posts never even get seen by anyone other than mods.

 

Then that is a software flaw that needs fixing.

 

Yes, this is why sometime's you'll get a notification for a post that's a couple of days old. I'm not sure why it seems to not apply with the high volume spam bots though.

 

I think this has been suggested before, and the response at the time was "we don't have enough mods to keep up with the volume of new users".
