The other day I slid my car into the ditch on an empty road at 1am. A single car drove past me before I reversed back onto the road. They didn't even stop to check, but they called the police. Damn snitch.

See, that's what I like about rural Ohio. I slid my Jeep into a ditch in the middle of nowhere and the lone person who drove by (who was a very cute girl) stopped to check. Went to get her uncle with his big ol' Cummins Ram to help pull it out. Slung mud everywhere had a good time. Guy wouldn't accept payment.

Guy gave me the cute girl's number. Never called her.

Had a similar experience in rural tennessee when my yukon shit out on me on top of a mountain with no cell phone service. Two young women pulled up out of nowhere on a quad, gave me a beer, a smoke, and a phone to call a tow with. Then their buddies pulled up in a couple of old Toyota trucks and went to go pull out my friend who was coincidentally stuck in a mudhole about a mile up the same trail.
You win some, you lose some.

yester day i took the Torrie out for a joust up to Whiteman Park, a good 2 hour drive. It was all fun and games until the car had to go over bumps in the road, because the two mates i took with me were both in the 90-100kg range, the poor little car was both too small and the rear springs were badly under rated for the extra 250 kgs (im a midget luckily) and every time i went over a bump the rear tires would scrape the flares, ooooh its painful the to hear, im sure the car was more than great full when i dropped them of home, the whole rear would sink about 3 inches when one of then sat on the backseat. Worst part is that the couldn't even pull up their fucking pants, these aren't vinyl pews either but that of chevron cloth, you cant wipe that clean ! Last time i let overweight people into my car, including my dad too. No way would the car cope if he sat it it ! Anyways on the way back whilst going through Bassendean the car stalled twice at the traffic lights when it went green, and i was at the front. Its an auto so it shouldn't do that right !? I felt really bad for every one behind me because they all got a a yellow light, so instead of piddling off the line like a little old lady i gave the loud pedal a decent push just to let at least one person through before a red light. I joked to the others in the car that theres too much weight, one took it lightly but the other was a bit offenced, oh well too bad thats what happens when your overweight. God if i ever end up like my dad please shoot me. Also while in Whiteman Park we went to the motor museum that was there and i got some real good shots, i'll get pictures up tomorrow

Imagine driving a car designed in an era when everyone wasn't morbidly obese.
come to think of it, maybe that's why Cadillac and Lincoln no longer make floaty landyachts, because if they did, they'd bottom out on every change in momentum from the mass of their client demographic.

I cant cruise with anyone nowadays :( as much as i like the peace and quiet of not having someone blabbering away next to me it can get too quiet sometimes, living in the country doesn't help. Its just no fun anymore

You should probably check the springs on it. I wouldn't exactly describe a car bottoming out well within reasonable operating capacity as "normal." Did you forget about 100kgs of bricks?

My car sags a lot with passengers, a full size spare, and a small amount of tools. Only bottomed it out ~5 times but 2 were because of landing small jumps. It is a Buick so it has really soft suspension.

Its a '70s midsize (compact to you) hatchback, of course it has soft springs. Now normally this would absolutely never happen but it would for sure when you chuck 250kg~ into the car. As CaptainZoll says this car was not designed in a time when every one was morbidly obese

it's kind of interesting to consider that rob dahm's AWD RX7 and BOM's project binky will likely be done before beamNG is.

Do British people really talk like this:
    ''Let us commence fourth?''

Does anyone know why the ability to like resources was removed? My original thought was that it was made redundant by reviews but something tells me that's prolly not it.

Happy Birthday dude. I have no idea when it was added, but it's a pretty cool feature.
