Unsolved Old DAE keeps on showing up

    So I made some changes in blender to the original pickup.DAE from the vehicles folder (not a mod) and when I export the new collada into the game folder to replace the old one the previous model that ive edited still shows up. Any Ideas? Cheers

    you shouldnt edit the official vehicles what so ever.

    You can delete the pickup folder from the Documents/Beamng/vehicles. This will delete the cached .dae file.

    But yeah, it is not a good idea to overwrite official content as that will be overwritten any time the game updates. It would be a good idea to make a folder in Documents/Beamng/mods/unpacked with the file structure [Modname]/vehicles/pickup/ then export the .dae there.

    Its actually quite simple, all you have to do is once you make changes, delete the old dae which is called pickup.dae. You go in the game and it still shows the old dae so to fix it you have to rename the new dae into something like pickup2.dae instead of pickup.dae. It works for me soooo try it.
