I found out that if you create a custom vehicle configuration called "POLICE", it overwrites the default Police vehicle config. When you delete the custom config it goes back to default.

I used the ETK 800 SERIES, spawned the '856 ttSport+ (A)' configuration, and saved it as 'POLICE'. After getting to the main menu and loading the game again, the '854t Polizei (M)' config was overwritten by my custom POLICE that I created. When I tried to load it, it loaded my custom config instead of the default.

Bruh this is not a bug. It's supposed to work like this. You can make your own changes to all the configs this way.

Well... They are not really "overwriting" stock presets, custom configs just take precedence if two presets with the same filename are found upon loading.

Stock configurations are safely stored within each vehicle archive in the game files, while custom configs are saved in subfolders in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\BeamNG.drive\vehicles and can be safely deleted if needed in order to restore stock functionality.
