Despite working three jobs i still get a pittance, money is not something i have in abundance. Beside im sure as hell not going to build a whole car right from the smallest of bits, space, cash or time permitting. Plus where on earth am i going to find a rust free, dent free, same colour '95 Corolla Seca body? But yeah the rust is the least of my worries right now what with that funky strut tower.
How is the strut tower not connected to anything? I assumed that meant more rust. The rear strut (or shock) towers in the Saab were barely connected to the rest of the car because they were so rusty. Constantly had to change what direction I pointed the wheel to go straight after going over a bump.
The bolts that are supposed to hold it on top are still there and tightened, but at some point the strut tower sheared clean off the bolts, no rust at all, because that is what Australia does to cars that are not specifically designed to be used here. Its why i hate McPherson Struts, there weak as piss, the sight of a pot hole will send one trembling in fear
6 years and this article still makes me inexplicably upset: https://www.carthrottle.com/post/10-modern-sports-cars-made-insanely-cool-with-popup-headlights/
Don't know where you live where it was 70 but up here in NJ it was pretty warm too. I didn't check the actual numbers but it felt like maybe 50 or late 40s
I live in TX, where the weather is very weird most of the time. It really did feel like 70, maybe a bit more since the sun was shining.
