again those were hardly ever seen because A)they didn't have the sound or cool factor of a V8, B) parts weren't as readily available, C) they didn't rev as hard and or were too heavy for the little power that they made and finally D) They were too expensive to hot up for the average 17-25 year old kid (the most common age for hot rodders/greasers back then i believe)

Also i could recommend 1949-54 Plymouth, they were well built, solid and reliable, although maybe not the best looking when put next a similar aged chev they really hold a world of their own, if were to decide that the 216 flathead is just not charming enough to warrant its presence in the car then i could recommend a period correct '55 Plymouth 277 v8 if you can find one, or you could go the easier, funner route by hotting up that flathead with dual carbs, extractors etc or what ever tickles your fancy but fare warning i will not let butcher one (a Plymouth that is) with cheap tacky looking stuff otherwise i'll... errr... stare at you profile pic, so no big mag wheels or spoilers or fartcan exhaust. Keeping it period correct is almost always more rewarding in the long run

iIm not a moron. Ever since i knew what one was I knew one. I hate that tacky shit. This is my pfp because it's from my steam account and all I play is beamng and TF2 really. Ever heard of TROG? i helped build a car for that. it's rat rod beach drag racing for a whole weekend in wildwood.

    I
got my eye on a 1949 Chevrolet deluxe, a 28 Studebaker and some other ones, too many to list but hopefully I'll scrape together enough dough.

the existed a hot rod inline 8, thanks to ross miller. he built a hot rod using a packard inline 8, an ultramatic transmission and other packard parts from a junked '54 "The Fourhundread"- also the Packard V8 (1955-56) is one of the best, if not the best, v8 that ever came out of the 50s, seriously look it up, it's an overengeneered monster

Holy crap, imagine the torque in that thing. One of my dream cars is literally anything from the 50s with a big ol v8.
    about inline 8's, bugatti royale's 12.7 inline 8. 16 spark plugs

I'm back from the hole guys!!! Thank you for your support, it has motivated me to finish this mod, I just have to update it for the latest version (downloading the update on steam rn) and then I'll post a build that may not be totally complete but that will definitely work!

Ok I'm basically done with the most important stuff (as in, I might add something in the future but don't hold your breath, but if it breaks I'll do my best to fix it)

    Now all that's left is:

Can someone please tell me how to link a mod listing to its parent forum post/thread?

Thanks lol, it's all that's left, I'll prolly just copy paste from my first post for the listing too if that's not looked down upon

As far as I know that kind of linking doesn't work anymore, correct me if I'm wrong, but it never worked for me, you should just copy+paste the stuff like everyone else does
