1.Is liquid physics impossible due to the use of soft body animation in the BeamNG's engine? 2. The "In addition, I don't have to pretend the tankers are empty, because when I look inside the tankers, they're really empty!" was a joke, do not take it seriously
Normal liquid physics is impossible, but they could figure out a new liquid system based on Jbeam and particles somehow.
like lbe said, they do have rudimentary physics where there's a group of nodes that can all move around inside a container, so simulate the sloshing of fuel, but the ability to have some sort of free flowing liquid would be nigh impossible.
I was thinking of just adding more of those free flowing nodes, then implementing particle collision somehow and adding some particles that look like fuel to those nodes, then making them flamable somehow. Idk how it would work from the technical side but I can imagine it would look decent.
Please try to do what you mentioned. This maybe take weeks (or months) but please try to find out is it possible or isn't. if it is, please provide it to game developers to use in the next game update.
Bruh I am nowhere near skilled enough to do this, I only know 1 person who made particle collisions and they got banned later so nobody can do it.
You sound like you're 12. You have no idea how hard it is to make stuff work in beamng and making particle based nodes is literally impossible. If it's so easy for you then do it yourself.
True, I do not know anything about making games or mods. I'm just a gamer and I say things that I want to implement in the game
