I have a random question: is it reasonable to have something like 400 mods on BeamNG ? Don't look at me strangely, I clearly don't think I'm concerned (yes)...
It is usually reasonable to keep the amount of mods below 100 because when the game updates some mods can start breaking the game and you will have to find which ones. With over 100 it gets REALLY hard to find them.
Yeah. Also, I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I heard that if you download wayyyyy too many mods, it can actually impact the game's performance as well...? I'm not sure.
It can, because most car mods have universal wheels that get loaded for every car, and if you have a ton of them the game has to load all the wheels every time and it causes lag. Also obviously the car selector will be slower when you have a lot of cars because the game has to load all the thumbnails.
