Basiacaly the same, it keeps cutting the engine off regardless of the speed or the battery state (second screen) And speed isn't really the case because event at extreme speed (and HP power) engine loss is the same (first screen)
I see "Available MG1 Power" as 99 kW and "Engine Load" as only 44 Nm; that's really not very much. I don't have any experience at all with Automation vehicles, but I have a feeling your settings somewhere for the hybrid controller or the gearbox are set incorrectly. You might want to wait until I release the new version because it's better at matching the engine power.
Oki, sounds like a good idea, I spent quite a few hours on testing it and still could find the solution for this, so hopefully with the new version it will be easier, thanks for consulting
Great news! I just submitted Version 6.0 of the bus and ETK to the mod repo! Once the moderators approve them, the fresh new hybrid system will be available to all! The details on the new version are included in the changelogs of each mod's update once they are approved.
Hi! I have just found your mods and this thread. I’m truly amazed by your work, this is impressive! Sadly, I don’t have the time and the knowledge to work on a real car mod, so I am only releasing Automation cars, but I like to do a lot of Jbeam edition on them. And since most of my fictional cars are designed to be modern cars, a hybrid drivetrain would be an amazing addition. So, I would like to know if you are OK to let me use your work on some of my cars Of course, I will give you all the credits if I decide to release an hybrid configuration for one of my cars
That's fine, but I'm going to be releasing a new version of the hybrid mods "hopefully soon" (as soon as I can find the time) which will change how other people can make their own hybrid mods. Right now, people have been copying the code into their own mod, but that tends to break stuff pretty quickly, especially when two mods ship different versions of the code and are installed at the same time. Going forward (after the new version), I'm going to require that people not ship the hybrid code with their mods, but rather have their mods "depend on" the common mod I will be releasing and instruct their users to install that as well. This allows me to maintain one version of the hybrid code, and prevents other people's derived mods from breaking my own due to two different versions of the code being installed at once.
I just submitted updates to the ETK800 Hybrid, Citybus Hybrid, and formerly "Hybrid UI Apps" (now "Arcanox Core") mods. This update moves all of the hybrid system code into the "Arcanox Core" mod, which allows me to just update that mod if I need to fix bugs in or add new features to the hybrid system. I'll only need to release updates to the individual mods if I have to make jBeam changes to them from now on. This also means other people can install the Arcanox Core mod and utilize it to add the hybrid system to other vehicles, and if anybody wishes to release a hybrid vehicle of their own, they just need to indicate that the "Arcanox Core" mod is required as opposed to copying the hybrid code into their own mod. From now on, I will not be allowing the hybrid code to be copied into other mods. It causes my own mods to break when I update them if the creator of the other mod doesn't update it immediately. People are free to utilize the hybrid code simply by having "Arcanox Core" installed along side their own mod. If you already have "Hybrid UI Apps" installed, all you'll have to do is wait for that mod to update and it will change to "Arcanox Core"
Hi! I have downloaded your updated mods, and they are really cool to use! But there is an issue. I don't know why, but the reverse doesn't work :/
Reverse is working fine on my local copy; are you sure you don't have any conflicting mods installed?
I will try to disable all my other mods to see --- Post updated --- Even without the mods, and after clearing the cache, the reverse on the ETK still doesn't work. And the Wentward doesn't work at all, exept the race config, which, like the ETK, has serious issues with reverse :/ I will try to send you a video as soon as possible. the engine doesn't turn off when engaging the reverse, unlike on your video and the brakes are acting a bit weird too I think --- Post updated --- I have just found something. When using the realistic mod for the gearbox, it works fine, but when you try to use the arcade mod, it doesn't work anymore
Hi, would it be possible to add switch for EV mode to charge only, to create something like in F1 where you charge the battery, but activate the boost manually (by switching back to EV + Combustion) only when you need it.
No, this mod simulates a prius-style hybrid CVT. The electric motor must be powered for the transmission to work.
Tried to implement the eCVT in am automation mod to simulate my 2002 Prius. ETK800 hybrid works fine!
Apologizes for the bump, but is anyone else having a problem with the hybrid system UI (and eCVT debug) app being blank when using the hybrid ETK? No mods are conflicting with it.
