i was trying to find it in game mod repo... ive realized now that it needs to be downloaded from here my mistake its downloading now cant wait!!
Hey, thank you so much for this. I can“t say enough ho much it means to me as I grew up playing this game. I found a bug. The parking lot near the port which is where you do missions for coronel Diaz (I think) is full of water. Probably because it is below water level.
Beautiful. Love it! This game defined my growing up LOL. I love this map. New favorite! I just need a Kaufman Cabs skin for the Burnside and wagon LOL. Tried downloading someone else's fictional skins but didn't work Otherwise, fantastic. I was so excited to find the VCPD car. For some reason though, the light version still lags for me and I have a high spec laptop. Great job!
Thanks for the report, I just checked and there are quite a lot of broken textures indeed right now, working on a hotfix! EDIT: I just noticed the issues are only happening in the Light version...and since that version was already a failure (compared to the normal version, no FPS difference whatsoever) so I just took it out. Still looking for ways in order to optimize the map though, there is definitely room for improvement...specially at night.
Is it possible to add bus lines on it? Since on GTA Vice City, there were some bus lines that you could "work" on. Also, the DT40L is from the same time period and looks fitting on a 80's map.
I know this isn't really the newest post and this thing probably isn't really being worked on that much anymore, but I have a few... texture issues (that i can't fix via clearing the cache either).
Export the DAE and find what the materials are named, or just check material editor and see what its mapped to, then just find the texture in the archive and apply it. --- Post updated ---
I fixed the missing textures by unpacking the mod. I was going to check the files so I had to unpack it, and then it fixed by itself, don't know how. I had this problem on other mods as well.
Processor: AMD Ryzen5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHZ Motherboard: A320M GFX: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB RAM: 8GB DDR4 3000 Gaming Memory As of this post I tend to run the game on Normal graphics settings, with medium to high dynamic reflection setting, Tiremarks: 4000, Grass Density: 0.75. Shadows Visibility: all. I stay away from High on settings due to how graphically dynamic the game can get with several vehicles and collisions. Game still looks frickin' amazing(Also I only got 8GB ram so that too). For me I got this map around a month back. Already had the GTA III map(played III, VC, and SA, back when they launched great revisiting them BeamNG style). When I rolled the first time or a few in the map I didn't get any lag at all. At some point I decided to activate the dynamic time of day. At some point Seemingly randomly while driving around the golf course it just drops to a permanent 7FPS. No matter what I thought of to do it persisted. I didn't mess with graphics, or the TOD at that time I was just just resetting and removing vehicles, eventually just closing BeamNG confused as to WTF. That was like a week ago or so. Today I was driving around a modified Burnside Lead Sled with dynamic time active when the lag started again, only this time it occurred to me to change the time so I did, to a day hour and the lag vanished completely. Go Back to night 7FPS, day 60FPS. Definitely all in the lighting, if I put lighting to lowest the lag is gone at night but the city looks dead. Yeah until the game itself or the map or both get optimized this is a BeamNG city to be viewed in the daylight. Great map to go around in very true to the city from the game. Unfortunately for me Vice City was my least played of the 3D universe GTA's. Still been a blast to drive around in even if night time seems to be off limits ATM(at least with lighting quality above lowest it is). EDIT: Also where is the 'light' version? I want to try that out. I want to see if night is any smoother with above lowest light quality, or without going into the mod folders and removing "items.level.json" from the "NightLights" folder.(The latter allows me to keep light quality up, but the buildings look a bit bleak with pretty much only streetlights to illuminate).
It is not a lie if you believe what you are saying at the time you're saying it, more a mistake. He had basically all of it ingame, but things have changed so there is no release. But none of this is contributing to the thread, so I would like to end it here
