The next update is almost ready! I've tried to address most of the main issues that people seem to be fixating on, (Pessima I4s, volume etc) so it should be out in a few days or so.
THE NEW VERSION IS HERE!!! Yes, I'm finally happy enough with the current version to release it! CHANGELOG: Vehicles: Added support for the Legran, Vivace (Only I4, WIP), Pigeon (WIP), ETK I-Series (WIP), modern Pessima V6 and Covet GTZ. Changed the Sunburst, 200BX, (OLD) Pessima, Miramar, modern Pessima (I4) and Covet sounds. Samples: Got rid of the "camry" samples, added "4G63", "h22", "I4e", "i4_basic", "v6_eng", "v6_exh", "i4_diesel" and "i6_exh" samples (credit to GTA 5, CP100's sound mod and SLRR), changed the 200BX sounds and Miramar DOHC sounds (samples originally from the Initial D archives) and improved the EQ levels on all vehicles. Enjoy! MAKE SURE TO REMOVE THE OLD VERSION BEFORE INSTALLING THIS ONE!
if i download this mod will it effect just that specific car? if you change the engine will it have a different sound? and if you use a car mod with the same engine will it have the same engine sound or just the normal one?
now the gtz covet sounds amazing ! and the 200bx is also much much better but maybe the idle is bit quiet great work so far !
Well, The sounds are basically applied to a specific engine on a specific car (eg the pessima 1.8) and if you changed that engine to another one (eg the pessima 2.7 V6) then it will have a different sound. It all depends on whether I have put the sounds on that car, so no they will not work on modded versions unless the mod is for one of the engines that's included in my mod. Hope this helps!
Hey, the Inline Four used for the 200BX seems to sound a lot like a 20 Valve 4A-GELU. Considering this is a Silvia/180SX clone, I think it'd sound closer to this. This is apparently an SR20DET and the S13 models used CA18DETs, but I've heard they're apparently similar-sounding. So something like this, maybe?
Turbo 4's and N/A 4's sound very different, so perhaps it would be a compromise between the two? Dunno how that would work.
I could try, but I can't just use any video of engine sound like that one, the RPMs need to be consistent and not revving like that.

Ahh ok sorry Probably next week (?) I've just been out to record some more engine and exhaust samples so Its gonna be released when I get those up and running in-game.
