you’d have to use a program like audacity to stretch the pitches around for the number of samples beam’s sound engine needs, and a “throttle off” sound if there is one while you’re at it, adding the ingame starter sounds should work (separate the first crank from the looping part)
Thanks, but I've been modding engine sounds for literally years. This is all stuff I knew, but I really appreciate that you care about stuff like the pitch and the throttle off, not many people do.
Even though you have almost zero chance of getting it to sound right using just the provided sound clips in the FMOD sound system (they distort way too much and you have next to zero control over how much it does), here's some info. Not a chance in hell, even the MSC dev was looking to replace these crap samples sooner or later
Well, I've done it. All I changed was the pitch (to be rpm correct) the volume and trimmed the clips slightly. Other than that, they're exactly the same samples as in MSC, just in FMOD. Note: I've only put the sounds on the 988cc engine. Tell me what you think.
wow, really impressive work! for only having two samples and with the ingame satsuma having inaccurate pitches, it's a really solid attempt they sound really smooth, but could use some more grunt, and they sound weirder at the engine than the exhaust, a little bit tinny it fits better than the forza sounds imo
No you used sound samples from the Ruscko for "idle" and so on, sounds entirely different lol anyways guys 1:1 with MSC using the crappy old sbeam system. go away, bug off, stop asking etc it literally takes 20 minutes to setup if you wanted it so badly, but no you had to flood the thread with atleast 2 pages of asking for it. (in entire thread's history not just recently)
