    Hello,

I am wondering what part of the Hero Bus jbeam files controls the shell of the vehicle.

I attached a photo below from my tests. I am experimenting and trying to create the fastest hero bus I can. Past a power of 500,000 on the JATO thrusters, the bus starts to fold in half. As a result, I went into both the frame and body JBeam files and changed the deform and strength.

Most of the frame jBeam already had a float max strength, so I changed the beam deformation to the following:

    {"beamDeform":50000000000000,"beamStrength":"FLT_MAX"},

If the strength wasn't at float max, i also put it to 50000000000000

    {"beamDeform":50000000000000,"beamStrength":50000000000000},

I attached of what happened when the thrusters are set to 999,999 thrust. The bus partially folds in half despite the frame having the large amount of deform strength on both body and frame.

I am just wondering If I missed anything that could be causing this not to work. I want to strengthen the bus to barely fold with the rockets firing. A beamDeform of FLT_MAX will cause the game to crash when you try to load it in for most parts, so I use large numbers.

I am just wondering if their is other JBeam files that I need to edit in order to stop the bus from folding or I simply need to keep increasing the deform on the frame and body? I have increased it multiple times now and I see little difference, so I am wondering if I reached a limit.

    It goes 0 to 100 mph in roughly 10 - 20 milliseconds.

At this speed I think deformation is no longer an issue but the body is just not stiff enough to handle such amount of force. Increasing stiffness can be tricky though, I don't recommend it, it has to be way more precise than other values. You would have to mess with BeamSpring and BeamDamp values of the body and frame, but if you do something wrong it can explode or cause instability, so be REALLY careful and test it a lot.
