Thought I'd start a thread for a map I'm working on as progress is starting to pick up speed. It's called Miniature Islands as it's made up of six islands linked together. They're all different sizes, but none of them are too huge. Overall though, the size is decent. My aim is to make a fairly large explorable map of a good standard, something that people would want to explore and enjoy. I want it to look well made and in keeping with the official maps, but obviously the level of detail isn't going to be quite the same. (yet anyway) At the moment I have 2 islands pretty much complete, one containing a sweet oval circuit the other and some fast dangerous roads. I have a lot of free time at the moment so expect fairly regular updates. Screenshots below. - - - Updated - - - Today's progress:
Thanks everyone Some more progress, a little apartment near the beach, and a surprisingly usable jump over some trash and containers along the water.
Been continuing to progress on the map, pretty much finished another island, map's probably about half finished in total now. I'll release a beta if anyone would like.
