Re: blown 70 chevelle SS need some help, so i want 2 seperate engines for my car, one with the big bug catcher and then a stock. both are v8... so does anyone know how to make it so when i load the stock motor in game it doesnt have the huge blower?
Re: blown 70 chevelle SS yea i have 2 engines but how do i set it so i have 2 different versions of the v8 engine? should i just put one as the i6 and change the power options?
Re: blown 70 chevelle SS bin working on 3 different projects at the moment but this is the new chevelle body on the old frame. things that need to be changed: 1.the frame is low poly because i started this car a while ago 2.re-do controll arms ie.upper and lower arms 3.re-do rear end, axle is dodgy and it will be re done 4.make it so the car is not invisible on the inside.... shell out the car please give your feed back and some pointers would be great. btw i mirror my cars the wrong way i think so if you are wondering why theres a line down the middle its because i need to connect the two sides lol
honestly, leave the frame as it low...low poly is fine for that, as you don't stare at it all day. Focus on the interior (also keep that medium-low poly) and the finer dtails on the exterior. Kep cylindrical shapes to 8 or 10 segments, except the rims/tires, those (IIRC) can be about 32 sgments, since the wheels are very visible. Don't waste poly's on undercarriage stuff (I think the stock D15 Driveshaft and axles are something like 6 or 8 segments). Keep that in mind. Otherwise the engine and chassis and bodywork so far are extremely well done and I can't wait till this is at least in game.
ok thanx ill do that. ya i dont like my rear axle so im gonna up the poly count a little. do you think i should make the upper and lower arms for the front a litttle better or just leave them then?
Those arms are fine...If you NEED to do something just for the sake of doing it, make the lower arm a bit more curverd, so it's not just straight angles...maybe add a 45 degree bevel to each one, a small bevel...otherwise everything you have is great, redo the axle alittle in the rear if you feel like it needs it, but otherwise keep polys to a minimum like I said. Great work so far!!
I will love this when it's available for download, I got to ride in a Chevelle for a test drive. We scared someone because the engine was so loud Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looking good! I know the plan is to create a "blown" version, but will you create a stock version as well?
Usually there will be a download link, but this car is not released yet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is going to b my favorite car. Looks rad, id love to test and tune that on the strip when its done good work.
yes there will be a stock version... i made the rims today for it and the proper ride hight and stuff.
Will there be different transmission options such as a 4 speed manual, a powerglide for drag racing, and maybe like a 6 speed swap? IMO it would be cool to have all these transmissions to swap in just for kicks. Great job so far man, it looks really good.
YEA!! there will be a 4 speed manual and a powerglide cuz the supercharged is going to have around 950hp. idk about the 6 speed but ill think about it also im trying to see how to have 2 different axles since the gear ratio would be different in a drag axle.
the stock 454 had around 390 hp with 500 lb-ft the second motor is a completely modified 454 with a 135 hp supercharger, twin carb. i may lower the hp but iv seen a prostock chevy 454 with 900 hp in real life so thats why its so much.
I think 900 sounds good for a street drag car, its definitely possible, so i would go for that as long as its still possible to control.
yea im working on how it acts cuz it does have drag slicks in the back so it has a little more drag feeling. also idk why but it says that the car has 4500kw of power wich is around 5000hp so idk whats wrong im going to take a look at it today.
