That would be an incredibly strange choice for a factory bumper, I'm sure it was just grafted onto the derby config off of the Moonhawk as an alternate to the welded derby bumper
Is the legran facelift or pre facelift --- Post updated --- Expecting wendover, got something better. Waiting for derby legran since 21.2 Wagon? Hell yeah LEGRAN REVAMP WOOOOO I LOVE SHIDBOXE
I had a hunch that we could see a new fascia alongside the wagon. Can't wait to mess about with it in the near future,
Wooooo! It's finally here, the wagon looks awesome. Those derby configs look better than your average derby/beater variant with more parts and overall looks cooler, I wonder if they're going to "remaster" the existing ones we have currently and add more little parts and little details to those. And I love that they used the Moonhawk bumper as an improvised replacement, makes it have that rough and buggered look.
I assume we will see realistic derby configs in addition to the more rallyraid style beaters we have now. Proper derby configs will all require an interior up to the current standards (as well as a place for a fuel cell and any extra options) since they need to be stripped down. So I doubt we will see a full derby vehicle content update just since so many cars need their interiors brought up to current standards first, unless we see WIP configs for the older cars (which would be out of character for the team lately)
Me, it would be a nice addition. If we look closely we can see that ETK 800 and K-series already have rear parking sensors modeled on the bumper. And the K-series has a front camera under the front badge.
Irrelevant to the recent findings (although happy to see an American wagon in-game), but has anyone heard anything dealing with the development of air suspension and air brakes? I was playing around with the Wentward and it seemed that the air pressure on the brakes doesn't fluctuate. Has anything changed or is in development?
I actually doubt that; if you look closely at the whole fascia in the original image, the headlight buckets look to be the same shape, suggesting the headlights will be the same from pre to post facelift. the more basic design of this front end also leads me to believe it's a pre-facelift, when you compare it to the existing fascia, which looks quite curvy for the 80's. and if any configs were to get a different set of headlights, it would be the original, now "post facelift" model to get a set of composite headlights on its higher-end trims, as US laws opened up to composite headlights in 1984.
The LeGran will probably get from one of the least configurable cars in the game to one of the most configurable ones, for now we only have different engine and suspension options as well as some extras like landau top and a weird spoiler thing, and in the update we are getting a whole new body style, a new drivetrain, at least a different fascia with probably a whole pre-facelift, and also these crazy derby versions with many parts including at least 2 types of bumpers, plus finally some proper skins! I wonder if we're getting anything else apart from this, like maybe a race version? And I also wonder if we're getting a dirt racer like a lot of the other cars have or are the 2 derby versions enough?
I honestly hope they do the same with the midsize, it doesn't even have an intake other than the stock one.
this is kind of a 1985 D series all over again. the Chevy Celebrity and Olds Cutlass, and the Aries/Reliant, short of having slightly sharper edges on the taillights, are very close in styling to the LeGran, and they were released in '82 and '81 respectively. Another thing to note is that the very rear bodywork is separated into a "tailcone" in the mesh (and always has been), suggesting they might add a different set of taillights as well, perhaps even with a different trunk lid.
