The zip is just missing the vehicles folder. You guys could add the daytona file to a folder named "vehicles" and rezip it and then it works like any mod.
It is a beauty. I noticed the front parts of the suspension are not race parts in the config, but they are available.
ok im giving up doing the install process has messed up my game completely please just add all of the daytona files to the original zip or just GIVE IT A DANG VEHICLE FOLDER....
Why can't you just add this as an update to the original vehicle??? Why the messed up installation process that has a high risk of overwriting data???
One way to do it: Create a empty folder somewhere (like your desktop) and name it "vehicles". Download the file and open it. You need a program to open zip files, like WinRAR. Drag the folder "bullit_daytona" from the zip file into the "vehicles" folder. Drag the "vehicles" folder into the zip file, right were you got the folder "bullit_daytona" from. Now delete the old "bullit_daytona". You should now have a zip file that contains the folder vehicles and in this folder there is "bullit_daytona". This is the standart structure of a vehicle mod. This zip file works like any other mod, just drag it into your mod folder.
thank. you. so. god. damn. much. EDIT: im just giving up. everything u guys say to do i do and it doesent work. im probably not gonna try ever again. bye
Instead of dragging the vehicles folder (with the bullit_daytona folder in it) back to the zipped folder, you can try to right click on the vehicles folder and select Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder. After the packing is done rename it to bullit_daytona or anything you want it doesn't matter. Then place the .zip in mods and delete the original downloaded bullit_daytona.zip (and the vehicles folder on your desktop that turned in to the new .zip)
guys its not that hard to install 1. download .zip 2. go to downloads, right click the .zip and press extract all 3. it will give you an option as to where you want them to be extracted. click browse and go to documents< Beamng.drive<vehicles then hit select folder and then hit extract and its done also, nascar.
Sorry to hear. I tried to completely replicate everything I did and I'm unsure were it could have gone wrong. Here a picture of my structure: It should appear in the car list as a seperate car, not as a config of the charger. Edit: f* it, I just attached my file.
Dinaco returns --- Post updated --- for windows, go to downloads, it should say the .zip name and then right click, after that there's a "copy" action, click that and go to Documents, BeamNG.Drive, subfolder mods, Repo and paste it there. should work
